The Outpost is a free standing building with western flavored decor, built in 1961. During the week we offer a nightly Square Dance and Round Dance program for those who want to learn or already know how.
On weekends we have private parties. If you would like to book a private party, you and your guests (and The Outpost Club staff) will be the only people present. Your party will be private. We only have one function going on at a time. You don't share the building. Our capacity is plus or minus one hundred (100) people. You need 30 people or more to have fun. We do a lot of small groups. We are a unique setting for Rehearsal Dinners, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Faculty Parties, Church Socials, Class Reunions, Holiday Parties, and other events.
Our specialty is working with folks who haven't had much dancing experience of any kind and getting them to do amazing moves by the time the party is over. We do an assortment of square dance, circle dance, folk dance, line dance, and ballroom dance.
At The Outpost Club, we do the complete party package. We can feed you tasty food, we can provide the spirits and we can dance you. We have an in-house photographer for special occasions. Small groups often do pot-luck. We don't do e-mail and we don't accept credit cards.
